You can use the
ActiveStealth software as a stand-alone speed camera warning system, or it
can be the central command hub for all your radar detector and laser jammer
alerts. ActiveStealth is the first GPS camera detection software in
the world that utilizes the Wireless Datalink Technology of the SMARTnode

Advanced warning
of accident black spots and high risk zones can help you stay focused on the
road ahead. ActiveStealth provide voice alerts, combined with a visual
display and audible warning tones to notify you of approaching speed cameras
or hazards, giving you time to re-focus, concentrate, and plan ahead.
Did you know the only independent study into drivers using a radar detector
found that radar detector users had 26% fewer accidents than non-users. With
ActiveStealth you can even choose your own warning distances for individual
hazard types, to suit your driving style.
Covers all
types of fixed safety cameras
ActiveStealth
contains the GPS locations of the dangerous intersections and roads with
accident history where red light and speed cameras are used. It alerts
you to all types of fixed speed cameras, red light cameras, average speed
cameras, as well as other known black spot and common mobile speed camera
sites. With its unique optional extras, ActiveStealth is also the only
GPS software which can cover common mobile speed traps as well.
Easy to use
on its own or with satellite navigation software
Touch screen
operation means you can easily store new camera locations or quickly change
the most important features. Operating in "mini-mode" means you can
run on the top of some satellite navigation software packages, or silently
running in the background of others, until you get an alert, in which case
it jumps to the front of your screen.
Helps you
become more aware of your speed
ActiveStealth
uses the GPS information from a compatible GPS antenna to turn your Windows
Mobile device into a highly accurate GPS speedo. Advisory speed limits
as you approach a speed camera to easily compare your own speed, with the
posted speed limit of the area. There is also an "over--speed" warning
that alerts you when you drive faster than a pre-set limit.

Use your own
Bluetooth GPS antenna or our SMARTnode one
PDA's. Pocket
PCs and Smartphones generally require an external GPS antenna to tell them
your GPS location. The ActiveStealth software can then calculate your
speed, compass direction, and whether or not you are approaching a fixed
speed camera. In theory, most GPS Bluetooth antennas will work with
this software, however GPS performance can vary dramatically on some cheaper
antennas, therefore we recommend the use of our SMARTnode GPS antenna,
available separately.
