The Whistler XTR-690 is easily installed onto the windshield by attaching the metal bracket supplied to the unit, and then pressing the two vacuum cups at the desired position on the windshield. We recommend mounting the detector in the middle of the windscreen, either up high next to the rear vision mirror or down low at the dash level, as long as it clears any physical objects such as the windscreen wipers.
