The Bel STi Driver was the very first 'stealth' radar detector to hit the market that was (and still is) undetectable to ALL police radar detector detectors (also known as RDDs) Previous to the Beltronics STi, RD manufactures simply moved the 'lo frequency' at which their radar detectors operated at. Whilst a 100% stealth radar detector was welcomed by the market, having it a portable unit was not the ideal solution for those wanting a completely hidden, installed system. The STi-R, released in September 2007 filled that need. With the same 100% stealth properties as its portable counterpart, the Bel STi Driver, the Bel STi-R further increases sensitivity, with added features all in a system designed to be hidden from sight. Bel RX65 Pro
 

The Beltronics™ RX65 Radar Detector was Bel's flagship portable radar detector prior to the STI Driver being released. The Bel RX65 is manufactured in North America and really only best suited for use in North America due to its poor detection of frequencies outside of the 3 main USA Ka-band frequencies.

Bel RX55 Pro
 

The RX55 uses the same antenna and internals as the RX65, but has less features than its big brother.  It has a Varactor tuned antenna and only comes with a red LED screen option. The RX55 is no longer listed on the Beltronics'website, suggesting this model has reached the end of it's production life.

Bel Vector 995
 

The Beltronics Vector 995 Radar Detector is manufactured in North America, has good detection of all the radar bands used in North America. Using many of the internals of the higher priced Pro series, the Vector series represents great value for money 'entry level' radar detectors from Beltronics.

Bel Vector 965
 

The Bel Vector 965 kind of gets left out in limbo as an "in between model" of the Vector series. You will see many online retailers do not offer this model since people tend to choose either the V995 of the V955 depending on their price point. It has only 1 less selectable feature than the Vector 995 model above it.

Bel Vector 955
 

The BEL V955 was the best performing radar detector in the below $200.00 price category at the 2007 radar detector test performed by the Guys of Lidar. The BEL V955 includes full X, K, Ka, POP, and Safety Warning System radar capability, front and rear laser detection. The V995 also includes digital signal processing (DSP) for superior range.

Bel Vector 940
 

The BEL V940 is Beltronics' entry level radar detector with POP Detection and Voice Alerts / fairly good detection performance (although not as good as the higher priced models). It has false alarms reduction and like all Beltronics radar detectors, it has customizable / programmable features. It comes with two city modes, Auto mute on/off with fast or slow start-up sequence

Bel RX75 Pro (Remote)
 

The RX75 remote radar detector was advanced for its time, however the technology in the RX75 is now getting a little long in the tooth. It was built on a platform 1 generation earlier than the RX65 Pro series and it's 2 generations before the STi Driver adn STi-R remote installed radar detectors. It remains a good installed radar detector for North America, but is not so good for outside North America due to it's poor detection of photo radar (speed cameras) in European countries, as well as Australia and New Zealand.

Vector 975R Remote Radar
 

The Vector 975 is one of Bel's earliest remote (hidden installed) radar detectors. It is built on technology 1 generation earlier than the RX75 - which puts it 3 generations earlier than the Bel STi-R model. The Vector 975r has separate laser detection receivers (to the radar antenna) and is wired back to a small central control box which has the visual and auditory alerts. With a small radar antenna, this unit was very popular with those drivers wanting a small system for discrete installation. It still has reasonable detection for it's age.

Bel Target Euro 550
 

The Bel Target Euro 550 was awarded best radar detector in the Auto Express magazine product test 23rd October 2002 and was given 5 stars. The Beltronics Bel Target Euro 550 Radar / laser detector combines a host of features including LED text display, digital voice alerts and Bel’s software upgradability function. The Target 550 detects a total of 12 radar and laser bands in an equal number of countries used by police in Europe. Incorporates Shadow Technology so detection of the device is not possible by the Interceptor VG-2 radar detector detector (an old model these days) used by the police note: the VG-2 has been replaced by the Spectre

Bel Target Euro 330
 

The Beltronics Bel Target Euro 330 radar / laser detector combines radar and laser detection with a host of features including LED text display and Bel’s software upgradability function. The European importer has been instrumental in its development exclusively for the UK market. The Bel Euro 330 replaces the very successful 980 (rated ‘Best Buy’ in Auto Express magazine, October 2000). It is capable of detecting GATSO cameras, handheld radar & laser guns, alerting the driver with visual and audible warnings. It has a range of up to 2 miles, and can be mounted on the dashboard, sun visor or windscreen.
