M18 Laser Jammer
Our Price: $
299
AUD inc GST
Now there is no need to pay "Laser Diode" prices for a LED
based jammer. The M18 laser jammer is half the price, yet performed
extremely well when tested against the two main guns used throughout
Australia.

Many people like the concept of owning a radar detector or laser
jammer, but don't have the budget to spend $500+ on a good radar detector, then
another $700+ on the top performing laser jammers. The M18 jammer is best
suited to the budget conscious market.
Here at Delonix Radar, we have to admit we were reluctant to test
out this unit when it was first sent to us for evaluation. We had read reports
years ago (from notable persons in the industry I might add) at how "bad"
similar jammers had performed, citing very low test results, bad build quality
and the like. In fact we had used those same person's data to write an
article some time ago advising consumers to "stay away" from the particular jammer
in question, and
it's rebadged counterparts. So you can imagine to our surprise when we installed this jammer
on a large, white 4WD vehicle, and got the results shown below in the videos:
M18 LASER
JAMMER VIDEOS
First test of the M18 Laser Jammer
Using a LTI
Ultralyte, only once was
a reading obtained, after the headlight was targeted.
Second test
of the M18 Laser Jammer
Holding the gun much
steadier (without having to balance a camera behind the laser gun, no
readings were obtained on either run.
Third test of the M18 Laser Jammer
- this time with a Pro Laser 3, in a much more controlled environment.
A speed reading was
only able to be obtained at around 100feet aiming at the headlight.
Very impressive considering the target vehicle.
Fourth test of the M18 Laser Jammer
- with a Pro Laser 3, against 2 different cars.
We let one of our old
customers shoot the laser gun in these videos. First vehicle couldn't get a
speed. Second vehicle only got a speed at very close range.
Fifth test of the M18 Laser Jammer
- this time we installed a 2 head M18 on the rear of a white 4WD.
Three attempts, and
we could not obtain a speed reading. You can hear the M18 alerting via the
walkie-talkie radio - transmitting from the test vehicle.
We offer testing of your laser jammer once installed in your car for those
living in the Perth area. See with your own eyes, as you can shoot one
of our laser guns at your own car...don't take our word for it, come and
test it against your own car!
We tested the M18 against a Kustom Pro Laser 3 and an
Ultralyte LR - the two main guns used in Australia, against a large white
4WD. With about 10 runs all up, the laser guns were only able to get a
reading at close ranges (around 100 feet or less) when aiming at vulnerable
areas such as the headlights.
We are well aware of previous "test results" posted around
the Internet on how poor similar laser jammers tested (as mentioned we even
cited these in an old article we wrote). Now I don't know if the
hardware or software (or both) has been updated since those results were
published, but much to our surprise, the two laser guns we tested this
jammer against failed to get a speed reading until the vehicle was very
close, with many runs JTG (no reading obtained at all). Now if that
ruffles some feathers, so be it, we simply test product and post the
results, regardless of the manufacturer.
We have no data on how this jammer performs against the other
USA guns (the Stalker, Laser Atlanta and the new Truspeed) we can only
give our experience on the two main guns used in Australia, and at a price
half that of the top performing jammers, this jammer is recommended to those
on a tighter budget, yet still want some form of laser protection.
...of course those that demand the very best, the
Laser Interceptor was the number 1 laser jammer tested by the GOL for
the last two years in a row, since it's release in 2007. The Laser Interceptor
is for those wanting the very best in
performance in lidar jammers.
Veil is applied to the highly reflective portions of your vehicle, such as the number plate, headlights and any chrome surfaces. Veil effectively blacks out these (previously) highly reflective surfaces, making it harder for the laser gun to get a good reflection (signal) and thus acquire your speed. ....
