Our Supervision 'canbus' HID kits includes our new all-in-one digital ballasts specifically designed for late model cars that use CANBUS electrical systems, such as BMW, Mercedes, Audi, VW and even late model holdens and fords.

If your car's computer shows you a "globe out" fault when you blow a standard halogen globe, then you require this kit. Since these types of car's computers are looking for a 55 watt load with a standard halogen system, installing a normal HID kit will cause many computers to show an error. 

Previously you could connect an in-line external relay (between ballast and car) to remove the computer error, however this only worked 90% of the time - some car's computers were too smart! This new ballast however, solves that with all the electronics all contained inside the ballast. Now you won't get that computer error - nor will you blow your (cheap eBay) ballasts in less than 6 months because you connected [them] to your car's CANBUS electrical system.

PLEASE NOTE: You can use a CANBUS HID kit on a non-CANBUS car with no problems. In other words, they are backwards compatible. You just can't use a non-CANBUS HID kit on a CANBUS car without problems (ranging from the computer displaying a bulb out error, or the ballasts only lasting a couple of months).

Please note: the Philips Patent Licensed Globes in this kit are NOT the same globes as in our Philips kits. The patent licensed globes are manufactured in China under strict QC from Philips. 
The manufacture pays a licensing fee to use Philips' patented technology in their production. The globes in our Philips kits are manufactured in Germany.

These kits come in a variety of colour temperatures ranging from 3,000k to 12,000k (although we only recommend 4300k to 6000k)

and available in most socket types including: (H1, H3, H4-low, H7, H9, H11, 9005, 9006, 9007-low & D2R* and D2S*)

* D2S & D2R are available but in the standard Supervision bulbs (not the Philips Patent Licensed)

To purchase, simply choose between a 35 watt or 55 watt CANBUS ballast system. The globes in both kits are identical - it's only the ballasts that change in their wattage.
What this means is that if you are runing a 35 watt ballast, you are getting around 3000 hours life out of the globes.
If you push the globes harder with a 50 watt ballast, you will get around 2000 hours of life out of the globes.
