Now you can enjoy the same luxary as expensive cars with a Philips Xenon lighting system, at a price
much less than that offered at your local car dealer.
Philips are known throughout the world for manufacturing the very best globes you can buy. If you demand the very best HID system for your car, you cannot buy better than genuine Philips globes manufactured in Holland.
Available only in 4,300k and 6,000k colour temperatures and only in a H4 dual beam socket type.
What's the difference between 4300k and 6000k colour?
The 4300k (OEM standard colour) shown above on the left hand side has a slight yellow tinge to the colour, whereas 6000k (shown above on the right) has a slight blue tinge to it - which creates (what I can best describe as) a more "crisp" white colour.
Feedback from truck drivers and Kangaroo shooters is that 6000k tends to show up cattle, roos or wombats on the country roads, so we recommend 6000k for high beam or spot lights, but if you're just driving around the city, then stick the the OEM (original equipment manufacture) colour of 4300k
4300k still looks bright white (and certainly whiter than normal halogens) but it's only when you directly compare it with 6000k against a white background that you notice it's not 'completely' white - as demonstrated above.
How can you determine if you are getting a genuine Philips product?
Easy! Our Philips HID kits include the Philips security label.

Each security label has a unique 14 digit serial number & pattern. You can go to the Philips website verification page at http://www.philips.com/burner and enter the number to verify it is a genuine Philips made product.

The Philips kits also come with digital CANBUS compliant ballasts.
PLEASE NOTE: You can use a CANBUS HID kit on a non-CANBUS car with no problems. In other words, they are backwards compatible.
You just can't use a non-CANBUS HID kit on a CANBUS car without problems (ranging from the computer displaying a bulb out error, or the ballasts only lasting a couple of months).
Here is a list of known CANBUS vehicles:
Audi 2002 onwards
BMW 2002 onwards
BMW 3, 5, 7 Series 1998 onwards
Ford - 2008 onwards (many models)
