D2S globes are original factory equipment (OEM) in many european based cars that come with HID Xenon as standard headlights. They have a round base with two metal clips, that screw into the socket base to hold it firmly in place. There are also adapter plugs available for connecting this bulb into a HID system for retro-fits. D2S HID bulbs come in all colour temperatures (Kelvin rating) in our Supervision kits. The D2S bulbs will last around 3000 hours if driven by a 35 watt ballast, or around 2000 hours with a 55 watt ballast. D2S bulbs can be used on both CANBUS and NON-CANBUS cars.
